Easy DIY Easter Bunny Wash

Easter is such a fun and adorable holiday with little bunnies and chicks.  I love all that Easter brings; the religious meaning, the advent of Spring, charming crafts and, of course, chocolate!  The other night I was about to recycle yet another container.  I stopped and looked at it, wondering what I could repurpose it into.  Then it hit me – it could become an easy Easter treat to make with your kids.  Make your own easy DIY Easter Bunny Wash for your little bunny’s bath time. Or if you don’t have any little ones, you could use this with dish soap in the kitchen as an Easter decoration.Easy DIY Treat to make with your kids - Organized 31

It all started with this empty dish soap bottle.  I removed the labels and rinsed it out.
I searched The Graphics Fairy to see what vintage bunny images she had.  I found this spotted bunny image and added the text in PicMonkey.pic monkey 2

Printed image  (I printed the image with text out on computer paper. No need to use card stock this time because this is a one season use project and then into the recycle bin.)
Paper cutter
Corner rounder
Mod Podge
Brush (paint brush or foam brush will work fine)
White pom-pom
Glue dot
I added Mod Podge to the back of the trimmed image.  After I positioned it on the bottle, I made sure to cover the image well with Mod Podge.  This will help it hold up at bath time or dish time.

Let the bottle dry about 30 minutes, add kids’ shampoo, bath wash or dish soap (for kitchen use), and voila!  Bunny wash for your bunny’s bath time.
And because that just isn’t cute enough, glue a white pom-pom on the back of the bottle (I only had a cotton ball, but I recommend a pom-pom so it’ll hold up better during bath time).

I love this. I don’t have little ones around anymore, so I think I would keep it by my sink. I know I would smile every time I saw it! I need a smile when I do the dishes! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Amy. I just wish my “bunnies” were young enough to take a bath and use it. I’m using mine in my kitchen and it makes me smile.
