Easter is such a happy holiday.  First and foremost for me is that Easter celebrates the foundation of my faith,  But in addition, it’s the start of warmer, sunnier weather and it involves bright happy colors and cute little animals.  How can you not like Easter?  As a mom, one of my favorite things is thinking up cute and fun Easter basket stuffers.  These Easter Bunny Crayons are adorable as Easter baskets gifts and also easy enough that you could make them as an Easter craft with your kiddos if you wanted.

pink basket with butterflies and paper bunny craft sitting in front.

I found this small pack of glitter crayons in the Target dollar spot.  The rest of the supplies I already had on hand.

Supplies

Small pack of crayons

White Cardstock

Scraps of pink, brown or black, and purple cardstock

Scissors

Hole punch

Glue or double-stick tape

Tutorial Steps

Simply cut a piece of white cardstock to cover the box of crayons leaving the top and bottom open (so you can access the crayons) and wrap it around the box with double-stick tape. Cut an oval nose from the pink cardstock and hole punch 2 eyes from the brown or black cardstock using either glue to attach them to the face.

Cut 2 ears from white cardstock and the inner portion from pink cardstock.  I just cut these freehand and then trimmed them down to size.   Attach the ears to the back of the box (so that the top lid of the box can be opened).
