For the month of May and June 99.9% of my attention was focused on my “baby’s” graduation party. I didn’t really think through the invitation process and ended up with 85+ RSVPing yes. Maybe not a big deal for you, but a very big deal for me. We were having the party at home and doing everything ourselves. The scary party for me was that the largest non-family party I’d previously hosted had been for 10 people. So-ooo, I was overwhelmed! But in the turmoil that was our party planning, I came up with the best Strawberry Lemonade ever! Really.
Nothing says summer like fresh strawberries. And nothing says summer like a frosty glass of lemonade. Combine the two flavors and you have the perfect warm weather beverage.
Best Strawberry Lemonade Ever
It’s also easy to make in large batches for a party.
I wanted an easy recipe that anyone could help me whip up during the party. With lots of people at our party and it being in the middle of June, I figured we’d be mixing up quite a few batches. I started by using the food processor to puree frozen strawberries. I put the — cups of pureed strawberries in individual freezer bags and labeled them clearly to make it easier for my helpers.
The day of the party, just added the frozen lemonade and frozen strawberries to the room temperature bottled drinks, stir well and you have perfectly chilled strawberry lemonade without taking up too much fridge or freezer space (prime real estate when prepping for a large party).
I left a sheet of directions on the counter next to the 2-liter bottles and my helpers were easily able to help mix up many batches of this refreshing lemonade.
The kids and adults were raving about this and calling it the best strawberry lemonade ever.
Oh, and the party went off without a hitch. Thank goodness I have a couple of years until the next one!

Hi Susan – I love this idea! And as one who ends up with fairly large parties, this is a brilliant idea to have the frozen strawberries and juice. You are so right about prime real estate in the freezer. So glad you had a successful party! Hugs, Holly
LOVE strawberry lemonade! I’ll have to try this!
Great idea!!!
Thanks. It really is easy and delicious!!
This looks great – quick, easy, tasty – perfect! Visiting from Creativity Unleashed!
Thanks, Jennifer and welcome!
Thanks, Jennifer and welcome to Organized 31.
Hey Susan – This looks amazing. Quick question – your recipe says that it yields “2”. Is that 2 punch bowls full? I am hosting a shower for approx. 200+ people. I just want to be sure I purchase enough ingredients. Thx.
A shower for 200, how fun! This recipe makes 2 liters of lemonade, approximately enough for 15 to 20 cups. The great thing is that if you freeze the strawberries first, nothing will go bad if you make too much. Have a wonderful party.
Yum – this sounds amazing! Pinning to try for my husband, since this is one of his favorite drinks. 🙂 Thank you for the recipe.
Enjoy, Jamie. It really is the best! 🙂
