If you blog, you need blog management printables or tools. For most bloggers, we’re the CEO, creative staff, marketing staff, and entire office and support staff all rolled up in one person. Depending on our personal skills, that can be …challenging. Add the challenge of gathering all the necessary information to file taxes each year and ….yikes!

Over my seven years of blogging, I’ve created these free blog management worksheet printables that I use to keep my own blog running smoothly. I’m sure you’re not surprised to know that I like to keep things organized here at Organized 31. I thought that you might find these free printables useful, too.

5 blog management worksheets for bloggers. I use these worksheets to manage my own blog and now I'm with text overlay

I developed these blog management worksheets to track my blog statistics, blog income and expenses, sponsored posts and to keep track of all my blog passwords.

I prefer to print out and use hardcopies of these worksheets. I also keep track of my income and expenses on a spreadsheet. Call me paranoid, but I’ve known plenty of people who have lost files on their computers, but don’t know anyone who has lost hardcopy files from their house. So, I use both the hardcopy and the electronic copy of my income and expense worksheets.

I find that using hardcopy worksheets helps my brain and learning style process the information better. If you’re like me and prefer to use the paper and pencil method, you’ll find these blog management printables will make the job much easier for you.

You can punch holes in these printables and add them to a binder. I have a binder for the current year with contracts, sponsored post requirements, income and expense invoices and these blog management worksheets.

At the end of each year, I review everything in the binder, purge documents that are no longer needed and move the documents that I need to keep to long-term storage.

Blog Statistics Log

Whether you choose the first of the month, the 15th, or the last day of the month, pick a day and write down your blog and social media statistics each month. Using my Blog Statistics Log helps you set growth goals and monitor your goal achievement.

Blog Income Log

It’s important to keep track of all of your blog income for tax purposes and for your business plan. My Blog Income Worksheet makes it easy. Blog income includes all merchandise that you receive and any income from sources such as sponsored posts, ads, merchandise sales, consulting fees, bank account interest, and more.

Blog Expenses Log

I am not an accountant and you should consult one with your specific questions. I set up this Blog Expenses Worksheet with the expense categories used for filing taxes. You may find that you want to track your expenses with different categories and you can add those.

Sponsored Post Log

If you do sponsored posts, it’s important to keep track of them and it’s easy to do with my Sponsored Post Log. It will help you:

  • Meet suspenses
  • Track your work with each company
  • Monitor payments due – I’ve found times when I did not receive payment for sponsored posts that I completed. Checking my sponsored post log allows me to follow up with companies that neglect to pay me on-time.

Password Log

When I was in the military, I had a top secret plus security clearance. With that experience, I create complicated and secure passwords for all my accounts. Yea me! But that means that it’s difficult to remember all those passwords, so I keep my Password Log near me when I’m working.

If you use an online password app, you may still find it useful to create a hardcopy password log (yes, you can call me paranoid). If you choose to use this printable password log, please ensure that you secure it somewhere safe since it will contain all your passwords in one place, which makes it easy for you and for a thief.

  1. These are fantastic! I am starting to think about having to figure out all of my income and expenses for my taxes, and I really wish I would have done it throughout the last year. I am excited to use these so I don’t have the same mess when I file this year’s taxes 🙂

    1. I’m sure you have a fancy spreadsheet all set up, Andrea. I use both a spreadsheet and these printables. I like having a backup and I just think better when I write things down rather than type them. I’d love to hear any of your spreadsheet tips.

  2. Since I just started to monetize my blog, these printables are really going to be helpful to me. I’m going to pin this post so I can refer to it again. Thanks!

    1. I’m so sorry, Conny. I’ve fixed it. Try again, please. It should work now. (stinkin’ technology gremlins!)
