I’ve been in a nostalgic mood this year and drawn to vintage images for crafting. I’ve even started a Pinterest board of images I want to use for future crafts.  When I found this sweet vintage Easter bunny image, I knew I had to use it to create DIY Easter Gifts you can make in about 20 minutes (plus drying time).

I enjoy sending care packages to my oldest “baby” and her roommates in college. If I can stand to be separated from this charming little vintage bunny can, I’m going to send it to her filled with Easter treats. It would also make a great teacher treat or party favors.

These would also make great prizes for an outdoor Easter scavenger hunt.

Cut the decorative paper to go around the can. Decoupage the paper to the can and use the rubber bands to hold the paper in place until the glue dries, which takes about 20 minutes.

Print your vintage Easter image out with a main image that will fit the height of your recycled can. Print additional smaller copies of the image out for the rest of the can.

Cut the images out. Use decoupage glue to adhere the images to the can and the rubber bands to hold the images in place until the glue dries.

Fill the vintage Easter can with candy to give as a gift or fill it with Easter treats to use as a center piece Easter basket.

My friend, J., gave me this cute DIY Easter gift last year. She filled plastic Easter eggs with craft supplies. It’s a great alternative to candy. I’ve kept this sweet Easter gift on my desk as an organizer all year. She chose the perfect blue color to go with my craft room

I’m going to have to make several more of these adorable bunny DIY Easter Gifts so that I can keep one for myself. Who do you know who would appreciate one for Easter?
