Easy Patriotic Upcycled Jar - Organized 31

I can’t believe that it’s almost time for 4th of July and 4th of July parties!  I’ve been on a big upcycled jar kick lately (graduation on the mind).  Since the 4th is almost upon us, I’ve got a super quick (we’re talking 3-4 minutes, tops!) and easy patriotic upcycled jar project for you that’s perfect for decoration or gift favors.  And afterwards can be used for cute organizing (ideas coming soon).

I’ve mentioned my hoard collection of recycled jars and this project started with this recycled jar with the cute red checkered lid.  The lid caught my attention and yelled, “4th of July!”

I grabbed some scraps of vinyl and cut them into strips to make stripes.  You could easily decoupage some colored paper if you don’t have vinyl scraps lying around.

Seriously, 4 minutes later (okay maybe 5 minutes because I stopped to eat some jelly beans), I had this adorable little jar sitting on my table.

It’s perfect for organizing  jelly beans.  My kids are so-oooo happy that I’ve started organizing jelly beans.

I’ll be using this at our neighborhood 4th of July picnic this year.  I’ve already started collecting more of these cute little jars so I can use these as party favors for next year’s party.
