Some people think I Spy games are for kids, but I still love them (and I haven’t been a kid in…., well, at least a few years). I love that it absorbs your attention, but isn’t very complicated to play. It’s a great way to relax and exercise your mind at the same time.

How to Play

  • An I Spy game can be played by children ages three and up, depending on the difficulty of the I Spy printable.
  • Each I Spy sheet has a list of items to find at the bottom of the page and a search area with many different item images.
  • The player searches for all of each different item.
    • It’s often easiest to either circle or mark through an item when it’s found and counted.
  • Write down the number of each item found on the line next to the item.
  • The player can play against herself.
  • Or she can play against another player with the same I Spy game sheet to see who finds all the items first.
