I know you’re going to think I’m crazy, but this is the perfect time to make photo book Christmas gifts now for next Christmas.  I shared my Yearlong Gift Planner Checklist that helps you plan all your gift giving for the year.  Why not fill out a couple of those gift lines now, before your gift stress rises later in year?  Make next year’s Christmas gift when you make photo book Christmas gifts now for family members.

I received a free photo book from Blurb to review, but all opinions are 100% mine.

I’ve been making photo books as gifts for family and friends for 5 years now.  Being a military family, we don’t always get to share special occasions with our loved ones.  Then there are other times that we are able to share those times with family and friends and we want to remember it.  Photo books are the perfect way to do both.  I’ve found that whenever I give a photo book as a gift it’s always treasured (and I have such a good time making it).

I had the opportunity to create and review a photo book from www.blurb.com/b/4291566-ahwen-s-journal’ rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>Blurb right after Christmas.  I thought it would be fun to make a Christmas Memories book with photos of the kids from each Christmas from 2003 to present.  Why 2003, you ask?  Well, that’s when we started taking digital photos and so making my book was much easier from that date forward.

It was so much fun to run through the photos of Christmas for each year and select a few that show the kids and some special memories

Using Blurb to create my book was very easy.  The process probably took me about an hour.  I love being able to add a title to the spine of my photo book.

The book arrived in about a week and the kids and I spent quite some time walking down memory lane together.  They had fun and I just enjoyed the four of spending time together making a present memory.  Now I’m not sure if one of the grandparents will receive this photo book or if we’ll be keeping it for ourselves.

Lucky for you, you can save 15% on your first order with Blurb so be sure you order several photo books.

Who would you make a photo book for?

  1. Great idea! My family is all over the world and we hardly see each other. I know they would enjoy getting a gift like this. I think it would be fun to make and to sit around with family sharing memories too!

  2. This is such a smart idea. We make them for Christmas gifts each year for my mom, but since we have to get them printed a month before Christmas, we don’t actually have a full year of photos in them unless we include the pictures from the previous November/December which irritates my OCD that prefers a January-December chronological format.
