Even though I’ve moved over 20 times and lived all over the world, there is still so much more of the world that I’d like to see.  I hope to be able to travel for the rest of my life, but traveling costs money.   Fortunately, with the Jif #GetGoing photo competition I have a chance to win funds for my dream vacation.

Where would you go on your dream vacation?  Although there are hundreds of exotic locations that I dream of visiting someday, for now my dream vacation is less exotic and more nostalgic.  We’ve lived all over the country since my children have been born.  The green pins are where I’ve lived within the US and the blue pins are where my children have lived within the US.

My children have been blessed to live in such interesting and diverse locations.  The problem is that they don’t remember many of the places they’ve lived.  They were too young to remember very many details and we moved so often that the details that they do remember often get confused.  At one point, we moved 5 times in 6 years!    My dream vacation would be to take our entire family to visit the homes that my children have lived in.  I’d like to show them the parks they played in, the churches we attended, the schools they attended, and the places they celebrated their birthdays.  Because we’ve lived in locations stretched from one end of the country to the other, my dream vacation would cost us a pretty penny.
