I love clutter on my desk and in my office – said no one ever! While there are many spots in our home that can attract clutter, somehow decluttering the desk always falls to the bottom of the to do list.   1. Nice infograhic! Rightly or wrongly, I do believe that having a clear desk conveys an image of being in control and on top of things… maybe even of intelligence. If you work in an office, especially one where clients visit, having a clear desk is definitely worth the investment of time. A plan for doing a bit each day can make a huge difference without too much pain.

    1. I confess, my desk can become quite messy. But after a day or two, I feel the need to tidy it back up and clear both my desk and my mind, Seana. I agree that many people read meanings into both clean and messy desks.

  2. I need to figure out how to organize my desk better. I don’t have much space, it’s just a small computer desk in a nook in the kitchen. I can’t really figure out how to organize it. I have been trying to figure it out, but other than a pen holder my daughter made me from a soup can, that’s all we’ve been able to do.
