My son, T., has become interested in special effects make-up. He’s learning how to do some pretty cool effects. Today he’ll show you how to make some fake blood with household ingredients.
Start with these supplies: corn starch, corn syrup, red food coloring, green food coloring, small measuring cup, 1/4 tsp measuring spoon, small plastic cup and a stirring stick or spoon.
First, pour 1/4 cup corn syrup into the plastic cup.
Add 3-4 drops of red food coloring and mix completely.
Add 1 drop of green food coloring. Be careful to add 1 drop or you’ll end up with alien blood instead of fake human blood. Mix completely.
Add 1/4 tsp corn starch and mix completely.
Check the consistency. It should be slightly thick, not too runny, but not like pudding.
Drip, pour or drench as you like. Bwahaha. Happy
Halloween.

Hi T – I am thinking that our happy scarecrow out front is going to turn into a zombie scarecrow for Halloween… and I’ll be using these ideas. This is very cool! Pay attention in school and make good decisions today. Hugs, Mrs. B.
