How to Play the St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt

You can use these game boards to play a traditional scavenger hunt.

  • You can place the game items around the play area or you can have children read St. Patrick’s Day themed books and locate the items in the books.
  • Establish the boundaries of the game and where the players can go to find the items.
  • Establish if the players are playing as individuals or as teams.
  • If you have children of different ages playing, consider pairing younger children with older children or an adult so that everyone can can participate.
  • Establish if the players are required to find every item on the game board or if they are to find as many as they can in a set period of time.

  1. I love the idea of having kids do the scavenger hunt through brooks. That is brilliant, especially as you might not find the items so easily if you are not in a decorated room. This is sort of a back-door way into getting kids to open books… would be fun in a library!
