Growing up in Hawai’i, we didn’t really celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.  It wasn’t a big deal like it is in some places on the Mainland.

And I’ve never really celebrated it with my kids.  But this year, I plan on surprising them (mama’s gotta get a surprise in when she can!)

I found these cute little green buckets.

3 green buckets
Grabbed the label punch and a small heart punch,

heart punch on green paper
label punch on white paper

and whipped up some cute tags.

In about 10 minutes (6 of those minutes spent collecting the supplies from around the house) I created a little leprechaun magic by making a Bucket o’ Gold Candy.

With a little luck (I need luck to outsmart 3 observant kids!) I’m looking forward to a St. Patrick’s Day morning surprise at my house.
