Tell me I’m not the only one that misses bright summer colors when we move into fall fashion. I find bright summery tie-dyed colors happy and energizing and happy. Did I say that they make me happy, especially on a dreary fall day? My daughter and I spruced up a plain old shirt and made it a happy tie-dye casual fall fashion piece. Oh, and we had a fun happy time creating together, too.
Supplies
Shirt- We used an oversized man’s Oxford shirt because we wanted the shirt to be casual and comfy. Be sure to wash it first and do not use fabric softener.
Tie-Dye supplies – I prefer to use a kit that contains everything you need {mine was provided free by Tulip}
We made a swirl on each side of the shirt and rubber banded them well.
We used 2 colors on one side and 2 different colors on the other side of the shirt. You can find directions on how to tie-dye and my tie-dye tips.
I’m so happy with the results. These bright colors will carry me through any dreary fall day.
You can tie the shirt up a bit or wear it long and extra comfy. This is going to be my favorite casual shirt this fall. Could your wardrobe use some tie-dye casual fall fashion?

I love tie-dye! It reminds me of my Hippie days! This shirt came our really cute and it is a spot of sunshine in the dark days of fall and winter!
I can so see you in tie-dye, my hippie friend.
