Easy Pumpkin Butter Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz Can of 100% Pure Pumpkin
  • 1 Medium Apple Peeled
  • 1 Cup Apple Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice

Instructions
 

  • 1. Place pumpkin in a large heavy-duty saucepan.
  • 2. Grate the peeled apple into the pan.
  • 3. Add apple juice, brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Mix well.
  • 4. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring well occasionally for 1 1/2 hours.
  • 5. Store in refrigerator in an air-tight container.

Notes

Use a large saucepan to reduce splattering on the cooktop.
Makes 3 cups or 48 1-tablespoon servings
