The completed cards include specific steps rather than simply naming the chore. For example, the Kitchen card includes tasks such as putting items away, putting dishes away or into the dishwasher, cleaning the sink and counters, and cleaning kitchen appliances. The Laundry card breaks laundry into steps including sorting, washing, drying, folding or hanging, and putting clothes away.
The blank templates give you space to create chore cards for areas or tasks that aren’t already included. The colorful blank cards can also be used for family-member color coding or chore color coding.
How to Use the Chore Cards
The included instructions recommend discussing the chores and requirements with family members, setting a timeframe for completion, and making sure everyone understands the expected standard.
