(Almost) Ready to Publish Gift Guide Articles

Ready to publish today (with just a little personalization) gift guide articles complete with affiliate links. Each gift guide is unique and only sold to once. You just need to change the existing product links to your affiliate links. You can also use these gift ideas in emails, MSN and social media posts.

These articles were written and SEO optimized for a site I launched in the middle of 2023. I decided to change my focus and shut down the site in August of 2024.

The articles were written using RankIQ for keyword selection and NeuronWriter and author written.

I chose to keep some of the gift guides that fit with my readers on my main site. You can see examples on my site of how the articles are written:

Need to know:

  • Find the articles listed below with the key words, word count, the number of gift ideas and number of links, most are affiliate links and some are links to DIY tutorials.
    • The word count does not include text “gift image” (see explanation below) or affiliate link text. I have rounded down on word counts, so you will receive an article with a minimum of the number of words listed.
  • The number of gift ideas, include the items linked. So there are some gift ideas that are not linked and some that are. These both are included in the gift idea count. The number of links includes both affiliate links and DIY gift tutorial links.
    • Example: A gift idea of creating a gardening themed gift basket includes 4 specific ideas of what to include in the gift basket and one idea has an affiliate link. I counted the gift basket and each of the 4 items as gift ideas, so there will be 5 gift ideas and 1 link.
    • I have chosen to reduce the number of links listed in case I made a mistake counting. This is why it says number with +. You can rest assured that the numbers listed are conservative.
  • Affiliate links
    • Include Amazon, ShareASale, Etsy, LiketoKnowIt and other.
    • You can simply change the links to your affiliate links.
      • If you find that the link is no longer active, simply search the platform for the product and most often it has been relisted with a new link.
    • In some articles, you will find both Amazon and Walmart or Target links listed. You can chose to use either. I have found that readers appreciate having the option where to shop.
  • Many articles will have “Gift Image” with a product link. These are affiliate links I chose to share in the article as an image versus a text link. I found that images are preferable for some items (an image is worth a thousand words) and help sell products. I do include text links with explanations of items when SEO and keywords warrant or when it makes more sense.
    • You can use the product links as text links if you don’t want to use an image.

I use Lasso to create the images included in my gift articles. You can see Lasso in action in LEGO Gift Ideas on my site. It is quick and easy to use. It works best in pulling Amazon images from the Amazon affiliate link. It sometimes work with other affiliate links to pull the image. I get around that by using generic stock photos or I use a text link. I have found Lasso very easy to use and their customer service highly responsive. They even assisted their users in creating a fix last year when Amazon did away with image affiliate links.
