If you know my family or have hung around Organized 31 very long, you know that we lo-ove Buffalo wings and use any excuse we can find to add Buffalo flavor to our snacks and meals. We’re also big sports fans so this time of year there is just one big game after another to follow. With three children (and three college educations to pay for) and the crazy winter weather lately, we most definitely are homegating to watch our sports teams’ big games. One of our favorite treats is this creamy easy Buffalo dip and our game day grub.
I had some errands to run this week, so I popped over to Walmart to pick up the things I needed plus the ingredients for our game day snacks. I was able to find Alexia Crispy Onion rings and Smart Classic Crinkle Cut Fries on the frozen potatoes aisle. The Alexia Sweet Potato Fries are my personal favorite, so I’ll make sure we have those for our next game time grub night. You can learn more about Alexia products by following them on Facebook and Pinterest.
Creamy Buffalo Dip
This creamy Buffalo dip truly is easy to whip up. You’ll need cream cheese, cottage cheese, feta cheese, a clove of garlic and Buffalo wing sauce. You can make the dip in 10 minutes while the fries and onion rings are baking. The step-by-step recipe card is below.
I always add chopped bacon to our dip (because everything is better with bacon for our family), but it’s just as delicious without bacon.
We are big hockey fans in my family and this is one of our favorite hockey game snacks. It’s also our favorite football game snacks, basketball game snacks, baseball game snacks…. well, you get the idea.
Eating finger foods is perfect for watching your favorite sport because they’re easy to manage (and oh-so delicious!).
I like to use a yard and a half to two yards of fabric for a festive table cloth. Orange is our hockey team’s color and it works well for basketball, too. You can pick up inexpensive fabric in bright colors to coordinate to your team’s or sport’s colors and make your game time grub celebration that much more festive.
When watching our game and homegating, we enjoy my easy creamy Buffalo dip, French fries, onion rings, vegetables, and fruit. We relish yummy and healthy snacks all while watching our favorite team win (hopefully!).
Of course the yummy snacks are the whole reason for watching the game (but, shhh, my family thinks watching the game is the whole reason for the yummy snacks).
The Alexia fries and onion rings are perfect for dipping in this creamy buffalo dip.
Please tell me we’re not the only family that has a stash of stuffed hockey pucks (and footballs, too) that we can throw at the TV when we disagree with the calls! Yes, we’re emotional and participative sports fans.
I know we’re not the only family that prefers to watch the big game while eating our favorite game time grub. Are you hungry yet?
What’s your favorite game day snack?
Try my creamy easy Buffalo dip with fries and onion rings and I guarantee it will become a staple on your favorite game time grub menu.

I’m a mom of 3, a veteran, military spouse. I’ve moved into 20+ homes all around the world. My passion is helping busy people make the space and time for what’s really important to them. Learn more about Organized 31 and me.
I make buffalo chicken dip all the time and it is always gone in minutes. My family loves it.
It disappears too quickly in my house, too, Robin. I need to start hiding a small serving so I can “sneak” it.
What a delicious and easy buffalo dip.
That has to be the best dip I’ve ever seen. Anytime you can add bacon to a recipe, it’s going to be a winner!
I am all about the dips, I tell you… ha! I love dips that I can dip in with a large assortment of items and this sounds Delicious to me. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Sharon. Glad to know we’re not the only ones that appreciate stuffed hockey pucks!
Pass the dip it looks amazing! Great recipe
You’ve got everyone’s faves right there! I like fries but hubby has this strict aversion to them (rolling my eyes and laughing at him) so I eat them sparingly to spare his heart. 😉
I’ve been wanting to make a buffalo dipping sauce for a while now. Never thought to pair it with onion rings and french fries. Thanks for the idea! Pinning your recipe.
This dip goes perfectly with fries and onion rings, Tonya. Enjoy.
Oh that dip looks fantastic. I am glad I am going to the store today. This is on my list.
Love this dip! I am not a big football or basketball type of girl, but I do enjoy board games and we have a game night about once a month. I can see this dip being the hit of my next get together!
Thanks, Cynthia. I just whipped up another batch for lunch today. It goes just as well with crackers.

I am making that dip this weekend for my son’s end-of-season wrestling party. I have all of those ingredients already on hand! Going to have to dash out for the Alexia fries though. I have had their sweet potato fries and I LOVE them. Haven’t tried their regular fries or onion rings yet, but I’m sure they are delicious.
You will be the cool mom for bringing this dip, fries and onion rings!
