Last year when my oldest “baby” graduated from high school, it was an opportunity to craft away. I even roped my friend, J., into helping me craft for my daughter’s graduation party. One of our favorite crafts were these candy graduation cap favors. They’re easy to make and were a big hit with the graduate guests (and my graduating “baby”).
We made candy graduation caps as a center piece for my daughter’s graduation party. But I also created these favor bags to hand out to the guests that were graduates themselves.
Supplies
Candy Graduation Caps (easy directions)
Plastic snack size bag
White card stock paper
Contrasting color card stock paper (I used black to compliment the black graduation cap sticker)
Marker or pen
Stickers for embellishment
Slip 3 or 4 candy graduation caps into each plastic bag. Trim the white card stock paper to fold over the top of the bag with about a 2 -3 inch tall front piece that’s as wide at the plastic bag. Staple the paper into place with 2 staples in the center of the bag. Add the contrasting card stock paper to cover the staples and then add your message on top of that.
These were an easy graduation party favor that were a big hit with the guests. I can’t wait to make these candy graduation cap favors for my younger daughter’s graduation party next year.

These are so cute! I would almost (note I said almost) hate to eat them! I am not much of a paper crafter, but this is something I know I could do!
lol, Cynthia. (Tip – eat them before you make them 😉 )
What an adorable idea! My son’s graduation is less than two months away. These will make great party favors for his guests.
Congrats to you, Corinne, on your son’s graduation. Enjoy the proud mama moments.
Hi Susan – What fun treats! I pinned these to my Dads and Grads board! Hugs, Holly
Thanks, Holly. You’ll be needing these graduation ideas sooner than you think!
What a cute idea! I know a few people graduating college next month, and these would make such fun favors!
Thanks, Andrea. They’re easy enough to make (unless you eat all the candy and have to go out to get more – ask me how I know this).
I have a 5th grader graduation this year. I will have to make these for his class party.
They’re fun to make, Maria, and I know a 5th grader will love them. 🙂
These are so cute and so simple! Right up my ally. Pinning! Thanks for linking to Tips & Tricks! Can’t wait to see what you link up next. 🙂
