Somehow Easter creeps up on me every year and I’m not as ready as I’d like to be (that’s hard to admit for someone who prides herself on planning ahead!). I’ve got an easy last-minute felt Easter Basket to help you out if you’re behind with your Easter plans like I am this year.
All you’ll need for this quick project is some felt. I grabbed a package of felt so I could make several different colored baskets.
Pinch the corners together to see what size you want to make the sides of your basket.
When you find the size you like, pin the corners so you can sew them (if you don’t sew, you could easily use fabric glue). Sew down the point and then across the point on each of the corners.
Tack the corner flat with a couple of stitches by hand.
Voila! For pennies and less than 10 minutes, you have a colorful last-minute felt Easter basket.
After Easter, you could use the them for colorful organizing baskets around the house. What would you organize with one of these baskets?
