Keyword autumn cookie, harvest cookie

You can make these autumn cookies using my favorite decorated sugar cookie recipe or using store bought sugar cookie dough.  While my sugar cookie recipe is easy to make, don’t worry if you’re too busy, just grab the store bought dough and don’t look back.

cookie cutter with 2 ear of corn cookies

The secret to this harvest cookie idea is using a Christmas ornament cookie cutter (and this one is made in the USA)! Don’t you just love that? Now you can use one cookie cutter for two different seasons.

That’s it. So very easy. So very cute. So very delicious.

Making these cookies with your kids is a fun afternoon activity. And you really can’t go wrong decorating them. Just call them modern art if you need to and enjoy spending time together (and scrumptious fall desserts!).
