I adore repurposing items into new beautiful useful items. Repurposing makes me happy because it’s earth-friendly, frugal and challenges me creatively. I’m not the only one that enjoys turning old clothing items into new fun projects. These repurposed clothing projects use t-shirts, sweaters and more to create new non clothing items.
This is the perfect opportunity to go through your clothing and purge items that are worn, don’t fit or you just don’t like. Removing those unwanted clothing items is the perfect opportunity to organize t-shirts and sweaters.
If you don’t have any clothing to repurpose in your home then head out to your local thrift stores. You may find my tips on How to Go Thrift Store Shopping and Not Feel Guilty and 3 Reasons to Shop at Thrift Stores (and not feel guilty) helpful before you head out thrifting.

Susan, you have such a great list of projects here. Many of them I recognize and some are new to me. I will have to go and check them out. I think my all time favorite is the Tie Dye picnic blanket. It brings out the Hippie in me! Thanks for the inspiration.

I love how big your list is! I really like the t-shirt pillows. I know my kids would love them – and I can make them out of some of their favorite old t-shirts.

The great thing about the t-shirt pillows is that they’re super soft and cuddly. Have fun making some with your kiddos, Stacey.

What a great idea! I have a bag of things that are not even fit to donate. Great things to do with the little ones when they visit.

Have fun creating and making memories with your little ones, Monica.

Now I know what to do with the 100s of random socks and Tshirts my 4 kids left when they went off to college. Very crafty repurposing ideas!
