What’s your favorite part of the Olympic’s season? There are so many fun things about watching the Olympics, but what I enjoy most is watching it with my family. We all get involved in the events and the athletes’ stories. It becomes a family activity that lasts the entire time of the Olympics. These family Olympics Game watching ideas make it even more engaging for the entire family by using these free printables.
I’m all about building family memories and finding fun ways to spend family time together. With three kids and two adults with differing interests, it can be challenging to find activities that we all enjoy. The advantage about watching the Olympics together as a family is that there’s something for everyone.
- The excitement of competition.
- Amazing athletic feats.
- The beauty of many of the events.
- The intrigue of the individual athletes (the heroes and the villains).
- The inspiring back-stories.
- The patriotism of the games.
These free printables encourage even more involvement in watching the Olympics and drawing your family members in and hooking them. (Shhh, don’t tell! They’ll just have a blast and not know you plotted having family time.)

I’m a mom of 3, a veteran and military spouse. I’ve moved into 20+ homes all around the world. My passion is helping busy people make the space and time for what’s really important to them.
So fun to anticipate the Winter Olympics. The more you engage, the more fun they are to watch. Would be fun to do a family wager at the beginning on who will win the most medals or something and then keep track!
I can’t wait for the winter Olympics to start. I love watching the snowboarding and the curling with my kids.
